D-shaped Photonic Crystal Fiber Sensing Probe for Biological Applications

Sensing performances of D-shaped photonic crystal fiber are investigated in this work. The highest sensitivity of 2000 nm/RIU in the refractive index ranges from 1.33 to 1.34 for the biological applications.
