Phase detection autofocus pixels with plasmonic nanostructures

Abstract

A phase detection autofocus pixel having the plasmonic nanostructures formed by the subwavelength metal-insulator-metal stack arrays is reported. Using its wavelength selectivity by the incident angles, the autofocus performance is confirmed by the optical simulation.
