1GHz harmonic mode-locked fiber laser by using carbon nanotubes film saturable absorber

Abstract

Passively harmonic mode locking in a fiber laser based on single wall carbon nanotubes polyvinyl alcohol film is experimentally implemented. 916MHz pulses at the 34th harmonic with 41dB super-mode suppression ratio can be generated.
