Characterization of Acoustic Phonons in InGaAsP MQW by Asynchronous Optical Sampling

Abstract

We measured transient reflectivity in an InGaAsP multi-quantum well by asynchronous optical sampling with an Er-doped fiber laser. The oscillation in longitudinal acoustic phonons induced by resonant Raman scattering lasts more than 1 ns.
