Effect of Hybrid Gain Medium and Four Wave Mixing in Multiwavelength Fiber Laser

Abstract

Effect of hybrid gain medium and highly nonlinear fiber on multiwavelength fiber laser is presented. Hybrid gain medium produces more lasing lines (50) and higher extinction ratio (17 dB) compared to single gain medium.
