97-Watt, 1.08-Gigahertz repetition rate, Femtosecond Yb:fiber Laser Source

Abstract

We demonstrate a femtosecond ytterbium-doped fiber laser at 1030 nm with 1.08 GHz repetition rate, 97 W average output power using chirped pulse amplification (CPA). The compressed output pulse width is 233 fs.
