Abstract

A near-infrared VCSEL-based QAM-OFDM NOMA OWC system with 1.13-GHz bandwidth is for the first time demonstrated to transmit two signals simultaneously of 1.6-Gbps data rate over 2-m distance. Different power allocation strategies are further evaluated.
