Super-resolution FMCW laser ranging using two coherent LFM optical signals with different periods

Abstract

The bandwidth-limited resolution of FMCW laser ranging is overwhelmed. Two coherent LFM optical signals with different periods are used as the transmitted and the local signals. The ranging resolution can be enhanced by 10 times.
