Robust and linewidth tolerant two-stage carrier recovery scheme for probabilistically shaped QAM system

Abstract

A novel two-stage carrier recovery scheme for probabilistically shaped QAM modulation formats is proposed. Compared with the blind phase search, the proposed scheme shows robust and better linewidth tolerance, especially under strong probabilistic shaping condition.
