Attosecond electronic dynamics of core-excited N2O molecules probed by transient soft X-ray spectroscopy

Abstract

Half-cycle oscillation is observed in transient absorption spectra of N2O molecules at Nitrogen K edge (400 eV) irradiated by intense IR pulses. The oscillation is attributed to tunneling ionization of core-excited states by TDSE-based simulation.
