Dynamic Localization and High Harmonic Generation in Solids

Abstract

We present a novel theoretical framework to describe the electron dynamics in solids under very high intensity optical pulses. It is pointed out that, due to the dynamic localization, high harmonics of vortex beams will be emitted under the irradiation of circularly polarized pump-pulses.
