Eigenvalue of dispersion managed (DM) soliton is investigated based on the inverse scattering transform by focusing the anomalous dispersion fiber section. The DM soliton has a discrete eigenvalue which is invariant over long distance. So even in DM transmission system, optical eigenvalue communication can be realized.
