Coherent control of phonon localization in ZnTe(110) using femtosecond laser pulses

Abstract

Two-phonon bound states have been impulsively excited via second-order Raman scattering in ZnTe(110) and detected with the pump-probe technique. By using femtosecond laser pulses, we have realized the coherent manipulation of phonon localization.
