OCT Image Guidance for RFA Therapy of Cardiac Arrhythmias

Abstract

OCT imaging has the potential to improve radio-frequency ablation therapy of cardiac arrhythmias by providing realtime information such as confirmation of catheter contact, confirmation of lesion development, early detection of over-treatment, and identification of critical structures.
