Serial optical coherence scanner for brain imaging and mapping

Abstract

The serial optical coherence scanner reconstructs macroscopic tissues at microscopic resolution using intrinsic optical contrasts. The anatomy, nerve fiber architectures and fiber orientations are shown in ex-vivo rat brains.
