Silicon Photonic Optical Coherence Tomography System

Abstract

A swept-source optical coherence tomography system is realized as a silicon photonic integrated circuit comprising passive components and germanium photo detector. Experiments show uniform sensitivity over 5 mm scanning range, enabling simple imaging demonstrations.
