A New Method of Longitudinal Mode Selection in Q-switched Lasers

Abstract

The effect of post-pulse (the second giant pulse at the neighboring longitudinal mode) generation in a Q-switched laser was revealed in experiment. Based on this effect, a new method of longitudinal mode selection was implemented.
