Light Energy Trapping and Localization in RE3+ Doped PLZT Ceramics

Abstract

Single-pass gain over theoretical value and pulsation in amplified seeding light were observed in RE3+ doped lanthanum lead zirconate titanate ceramic plates. Theoretical consideration based on light energy trapping and localization was given to elucidate the findings and micro random laser source array was proposed.
