Chip-Packaged Silicon Photonic Nanoscale Thermometers

Abstract

We report on the development of on-chip integrated packaged nanoscale silicon photonic temperature sensors capable of detecting temperature differences as small as 70 µK, thus showing the potential to replace legacy resistance thermometers.
