Lens Thickness Measurement and Axial Positioning Method Based on the Frequency-shifted Confocal Feedback

Abstract

We describe a new method for lens thickness measurement and axial positioning based on the frequency-shifted confocal feedback. The heterodyne modulation is utilized and the detection sensitivity is improved prominently by the frequency-shifted feedback effect.
