All Fiber Broadband Mode Converter Based on Semicircular-Distribution Long Period Fiber Gratings

Abstract

All fiber broadband mode converter based on semicircular-distribution long period fiber gratings is proposed. Simulation results show that the mode conversion efficiency from LP01 mode to LP11 mode is more than 85% over wavelength range of 200nm.
