Flexible Generation of Optical Frequency Combs based on Stimulated Brillouin Scattering and a Dual Parallel Mach-Zehnder Modulator

Abstract

We demonstrate a new scheme of generating optical frequency combs (OFCs) based on the stimulated Brillouin scattering and a dual parallel Mach-Zehnder modulator. OFCs with a spacing of a Brillouin frequency shift are experimentally generated.
