Mode Coupling in Chalcogenide Negative Curvature Fibers

We calculate mode coupling and higher-order mode suppression in chalcogenide negative curvature fibers. The loss ratio of the higher-order mode to the fundamental mode is 58, while loss of the fundamental mode is under 0.4 dB/m.
