Directly observing particle manipulations along light trajectories with axial plane optical microscopy

Abstract

We demonstrate the direct observation of optical particle manipulations along light trajectories with the axial plane optical microscopy (APOM). Optically trapped particles moving along both straight and curved trajectories are successfully monitored by the APOM.
