Abstract

Forward-looking LIDAR measurements on-board aircraft have been realized. Results show potential for real-time anticipation of atmospheric disturbances and automated counter-maneuvering in the future. A multi-functional design approach is however required. Results, lessons and perspectives will be discussed.
