Relative performance of one-dimensional nonlinear plasmonic structures

Abstract

Plasmonic structures are promising for nonlinear optics because they strongly confine light. Many geometries were proposed but their relative merits remain under-explored. We compare different one-dimensional plasmonic structures and contrast with dielectric ones.
