Abstract

Extreme-ultraviolet vortices are produced from the nonlinear conversion of infrared twisted beams through high-harmonic generation (HHG). The nonperturbative nature of HHG engenders an unexpectedly rich scenario for the orbital angular momentum buildup in extreme-ultraviolet vortices.
