Identification of white powder samples using broadband coherent light in the molecular fingerprint region

Abstract

Stand-off Fourier-transform spectroscopy of eleven white powder samples illuminated by a broadband femtosecond source was used to construct a library of spectra, which are demonstrated to enable automated chemical detection using a simple correlation algorithm.
