Laser-based Frequency Transfer over Underwater Link with Phase Compensation

Abstract

We demonstrate a laser-based transfer of radio-frequency signal with phase compensation over 5 m underwater link. The root-mean-square timing fluctuation of the transferred RF signal is about 2.3 ps within 5000 s.
