Two-dimensional Large-angle Scanning Optical Phased Array with Single Wavelength Beam

Abstract

A two-dimensional scanning optical phased array can easily achieve a circular scanning range of 51.84°, 81.6% emission efficiency and 29.7dB back suppression ratio at 1550nm by adopting a high contrast grating (HCG) optical antenna.
