Improving the Temporal Resolution of Speckle based Remote Phonocardiogram Sensing via Laser Modulation

Abstract

We present a method for remote phonocardiogram sensing which employs temporal modulation of the illumination laser. This method yields a significant enhancement of the temporal bandwidth of the captured speckle image sequence, thus improving performance.
