Precision Spectroscopy of N2O with a Cross-Dispersed Spectrometer and Mid-Infrared Frequency Comb

Abstract

A two-dimensional dispersive spectrometer achieves single element noise equivalent absorbance of 2.2 X 10-5 Hz-1/2, and resolves rovibrational lines for all singly-substituted stable isotopic variants of nitrous oxide near 4.5 pm.
