Ultra-Broadband Spectrum Generation from a Stretched-Pulse Mode-locked Yb-doped Fiber Laser at High Repetition Rate

Abstract

Spectrum over 100 nm was generated from a mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser at 169 MHz. Simulations revealed that broadband originated from the scheme of stretched-pulse rather than similariton.
