High-Resolution Sensing at Sub-10 Hz Frequencies using a Mach-Zehnder Fabry-Perot Hybrid Fiber Interferometer

Abstract

We report record-setting strain resolutions achieved at sub-10 Hz frequencies using a Mach-Zehnder Fabry-Perot hybrid fiber interferometer, which is supported by an off-the-shelf diode laser and a simple soil-based insulation system.
