Abstract

Stronger regulation requirements for industrial application based thermo-chemical energy conversion processes demand for new measurement approaches to characterize the composition of the exhaust gas emission. We present a robust multi-channel, multi species measurements system for the quantification of exhaust gas species direct at the tail pipe end of a driving car. The application of the TDLAS spectrometer at a car during a syn-fuel test drive will be shown and the robustness as well as uncertainties of the optical system will be discussed.
