Distance Measurement using Opto-Electronic Oscillators

Abstract

Precise distance measurement plays an important role in surveying, construction and advanced engineering. A relatively simple method is proposed here to measure distances with sub-millimeter accuracy based on the low-frequency optoelectronic oscillations.
