1920 nm Pulse Generation from Hybrid Parametric Oscillator for Vibrational Photoacoustic Imaging of Water

Abstract

We present a powerful high-stability fiber-based hybrid optical parametric oscillator at 1920 nm, with less than ±0.5-ns pulse width jitter and 350-nJ peak pulse energy, suitable for the bond-selective photoacoustic imaging of water.
