Active Switching of Electromagnetic Induced Transparency in Ge2Sb2Te5 Tunable Terahertz Metamaterial

Abstract

We demonstrate active switching of EIT in a THz metasurface comprising of phase change material/gold patterns. Dynamic interchange between EIT and dipolar resonance due to ultrafast phase-transition of Ge2Sb2Te5 promises applications in slow light devices.
