Minimum ranging time for a LiDAR module using CMOS single-photon avalanche diodes

Abstract

Single-point minimum integration time (Tmin) is a core parameter for LiDAR. We demonstrate a method to theoretically evaluate Tmin with given signal/noise levels. It excellent consistence with the experiment from our CMOS SPAD LiDAR.
