Crust Deformation Detection System based on Coherent Optical Fiber Sensing Technology

Abstract

We demonstrate fiber crust deformation detection system based on coherent phase detection. With sensitivity enhancement design and compensation scheme, the system can reach a strain resolution of 151pε@ 0.01Hz, which could record the crust deformation.
