Correction of Apodisation-Induced Phase Error in Small-Spot Direct UV Bragg Grating Writing

Abstract

A modification to the small-spot direct UV writing scheme is presented to resolve apodization-induced phase shift. Numerical and analytic simulations of the scheme are demonstrated alongside experimental results of gratings fabricated with the modified technique.
