Spectroscopy of 5s5p3P0-5s4d3D1 with cold Sr atoms

Abstract

We perform spectroscopy of 5s5p3P0-5s4d3D1 in magneto-optically trapped Sr atoms for various power of 2.6 μm laser. We develop a compact distributed feedback (DFB) laser at 2.6 μm as the light source for probing spectroscopy. The absolute frequency of the 5s5p3P0-5s4d3D1 transition is expected to be measured by the accurate spectroscopy with the frequency comb or high-resolution wavemeter.
