Laser Induced Persistent Holographic Gratings in Europium Doped Tellurite Glasses Using a Continuous Wave Visible Laser

Abstract

Strong persistent gratings were formed in europium doped tellurite glasses using the four-wave mixing technique. The gratings were written by a CW laser operating at 532 nm. The maximum change in the index of refraction was 0.00023.
