Abstract

We report on transient dynamics in a femtosecond fiber-feedback optical parametric oscillator. Dispersive Fourier transform spectroscopy provides spectral and shot-to-shot temporal resolution, revealing the buildup into various attractors, such as steady states and period-N cycles.
