Few-mode self-similar pulse compression in photonic crystal fibers

Abstract

We numerically investigate few-mode self-similar pulse compression in photonic crystal fibers. Simulation shows three copropagating modes can be compressed self-similarly with deviation < 5% when input pulses are longer than 3.58 ps.
