Chromatic dispersion control in a Ge-Ga-Si-Te microstructured optical fiber

Abstract

Based on the thermal and optical properties of Ge15Ga5Si2.5Te77.5 glass, we demonstrate the chromatic dispersion control using a microstructured optical fiber with 6 air holes to shift the zero-dispersion wavelength to the near infrared regions.
