Abstract

We designed a mirrored-twin split-ring-resonator (SRR) based metamaterial for magnetic field enhancement in 1.5T MRI. Simulation estimates a twenty-five-fold enhancement in magnetic field which would lead to a significant boost of signal-to-noise-ratio of scanned images.
