High-Resolution Spectroscopy in the Long-Wavelength Mid-Infrared Region

Abstract

An in-house built difference-frequency-generation laser is used to probe the long-wave mid-infrared region. Wide tunability (11.58 - 15 μm) and high resolution of the developed system are showcased in molecular fingerprinting of several species.
