Temporal-encoded noise-like pulses for chaotic optical time-domain reflectometer

Abstract

We reported on a high-resolution chaotic-OTDR utilizing the temporal-encoded noise-like pulses delivered from a passively mode-locked fiber laser. The experimental results showed that a millimeter scale resolution is achieved.
