Reshaping a simple lattice into nontrivial topological phase by Floquet on-site drives

Abstract

We demonstrate an on-site driving protocol to reshape a simple photonic lattice into Floquet topological phase. Our approach can be extended to endow topological properties to a host of materials trivial in the static regime.
